Community organizations

With this solicitation, BJA, in coordination with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Office of Victims of Crime, seeks applications to provide a range of training and technical assistance to grantees and the field at large under the Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative.

This program provides for the development, operation, and management of a training and technical assistance program for justice-focused community-based organizations directly serving communities disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization.

This program funds organizations to serve as financial intermediaries to community-based reentry programs (subawardees) and to provide support via an incubator model in order to increase capability and capacity within the subawardees’ organizations.
