This program seeks to assist state, local, and tribal jurisdictions in reducing crime and improving the functioning of the criminal justice system through more effective information sharing, multi-agency collaboration, and the implementation of data-driven, evidence-based strategies.
With this solicitation, BJA, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, is seeking applications to support the standardization of information-sharing practices and the identification and sharing of state, local, tribal, and territorial information-sharing exchange promising practices and lessons learned.
This opportunity provides funding to manage the Criminal Intelligence Systems Operating Policies (28 CFR Part 23) Training and Technical Assistance Program available to state, local, tribal, and territorial criminal justice agencies.
