The City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin proposes to implement the 2024 Republican Presidential Nominating Convention (“RNC”) Security Program. The purpose of the Program is to provide a safe and secure environment for all beneficiaries: RNC participants, news media, demonstrators, service providers, and the general public who will participate in or be affected by the activities surrounding the RNC. Project activities include utilization of more than 4,000 law enforcement officers and all-hazards protection personnel from the City of Milwaukee and nationwide partners to support RNC security efforts, to effectively procure and inventory equipment, supplies, and services, and to effectively implement a comprehensive operational security plan, including preparation, mobilization, and de-mobilization phases. Expected outcomes include a presidential nominating convention with no major public safety incidents, property damage, or injuries. The service area is the City of Milwaukee metropolitan area, including the location of any official convention activities.
