FY 2022 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grants Program - Competitive
This program seeks to improve forensic science and medical examiner/coroner services, including services provided by laboratories operated by states and units of local government. Under the Coverdell Program, state administering agencies (SAAs) may apply for both formula and competitive funds. Units of local government may apply for competitive funds. This solicitation is ONLY for the competitive funds. An applicant that seeks to apply for Coverdell formula funds (consistent with 34 U.S.C. § 10563(a)(1)) available for grants to eligible states would need to apply under the Bureau of Justice Assistance's (BJA’s) FY 2022 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grants Program (Formula) solicitation.
