This program brings talent and expertise from the field to BJA to inform policy and practice and create new tools for the field that disseminate knowledge of effective and innovative approaches to priority criminal justice issues.

BJA seeks a training and technical assistance (TTA) provider and subject matter experts to help state correctional agencies implement changes to their trainings, policies, and practices to reduce their use of restrictive housing.

The JAG Program is the primary provider of federal criminal justice funding to states and units of local government. BJA will award JAG Program funds to eligible units of local government as described in this opportunity.

This program will fund projects to construct, renovate, or upgrade child-friendly family visiting spaces in correctional facilities.

This initiative seeks to implement transdisciplinary crisis response training to educate and prepare law enforcement and correctional officers so that they are equipped to appropriately interact with people who have behavioral health conditions or disabilities in the course of completing their job responsibilities.

This program provides support to criminal justice agencies to partner with mental health agencies and reduce crime and recidivism associated with people with mental illnesses and co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse issues.
