Public Safety Officers' Benefits Program

The PSOB Program provides death and education benefits to survivors of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders, and disability benefits to officers catastrophically injured in the line of duty.

For Attorneys

The Public Safety Officers' Benefits Act of 1976, Public Law 94-430, authorizes BJA to prescribe the maximum fee that a representative may charge a claimant for services rendered in connection with any claim before the Bureau.
