Honoring Bravery & Sacrifice: Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor

Every year, BJA accepts nominations for the Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor. The nomination period for the 2024-2025 Medal of Valor is from August 4, 2025, to October 3, 2025. All acts of valor that took place between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, are eligible for nomination.

Public Safety Officers' Benefits Program
The PSOB Program provides death and education benefits to survivors of fallen law enforcement officers, firefighters, and other first responders, and disability benefits to officers catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
