ASCA: The Association of State Correctional Administrators (ASCA) is dedicated to the improvement of correctional services and practices through promoting and facilitating the exchange of ideas and philosophies at the top administrative level of correctional planning and policymaking, and the advancement of correctional techniques, particularly in the areas of development, design of correctional facilities, staff training, and correctional management facilities.

APPA: The American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) is an international association composed of individuals from the United States and Canada actively involved with probation, parole, and community-based corrections in both adult and juvenile sectors. All levels of government are counted among its constituents. IIR: The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR), a nonprofit research and training organization, specializes in law enforcement, juvenile justice, criminal justice, and homeland security issues. IJIS: The IJIS Institute provides training essential to the successful implementation of information sharing projects in the justice, public safety, and homeland security communities. IACP: The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is the world’s oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization of police executives, with over 18,000 members in over 100 different countries. The International Association of Chiefs of Police training portfolio is targeted toward police and law enforcement officers, and covers a wide range of crucial issues relevant to the field.

JISP: As a network of state, tribal, and local justice and public safety information sharing practitioners, the Justice Information Sharing Practitioners (JISP) Network is committed to increasing local, regional, and national sharing of justice information through peer collaboration and facilitation. JISP improves the capacity and management of information sharing efforts nationwide by facilitating communication among justice technology practitioners and managers, sharing resources, offering and facilitating training and technical assistance, and providing guidance and direction regarding standards and model approaches.

NASCIO: The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) represents state chief information officers and information resource executives and managers from the 50 states, six U.S. territories and the District of Columbia. State members are senior officials from any of the three branches of state government that have executive-level and statewide responsibility for information resource management.

NCJA: The National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) works to promote a balanced approach to communities’ complex public safety, criminal and juvenile justice system problems. The NCJA offers a number of different opportunities to enhance the professional development of state, tribal, and local criminal and juvenile justice decision makers and policy makers through both educational training and events. NCJA also promotes a variety of events and conferences, all designed to increase networking opportunities and to foster the exchange of valuable knowledge and skills.

NCSC: The National Center for State Courts (NCSC) helps courts improve the administration of justice and service to the public by offering quality products and services to meet both the current and future needs of the state court community. Through original research, consulting services, publications, and national educational programs, NCSC offers solutions that enhance court operations with the latest technology; collects and interprets the latest data on court operations nationwide; and provides information on proven "best practices" for improving court operations.

NGA: Founded in 1908, the National Governors Association (NGA) is the collective voice of the nation's governors and one of Washington, D.C.'s most respected public policy organizations. The NGA provides governors and their senior staff members with services that range from representation on Capitol Hill on key federal issues to developing policy reports on innovative state programs. NGA also provides management and technical assistance to both new and incumbent governors.

SEARCH: SEARCH, The National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics, is a nonprofit membership organization created by and for the states. It has 40 years of experience supporting the information sharing, interoperability, information technology, high-tech crime investigative and criminal records needs of justice and public safety agencies and practitioners nationwide. SEARCH is dedicated to improving the quality of justice and public safety through the use, management and exchange of information; application of new technologies; and responsible law and policy, while safeguarding security and privacy.
