President Trump recognized the following law enforcement officers and first responders for their heroic and extraordinary services during a shooting in Alexandria, Virginia on June 14th, 2017:

Special Agents Crystal Griner and David Bailey (United States Capitol Police), and Officers Nichole Battaglia, Alex Jensen and Kevin Jobe (Alexandria Police Department, VA)

President Trump awarded the Medal of Valor and Heroic Commendations to six police officers who stopped the mass shooting gunman in Dayton, Ohio, on August 4th, 2019. The individuals were Sergeant William Knight, and Officers Brian Rolfes, Jeremy Campbell, Vincent Carter, Ryan Nabel and David Denlinger, Dayton Police Department (Ohio).
