The BJA Southwest Border Rural Law Enforcement Training and Technical (TTA) Assistance Grant is an innovative new program designed to provide resources and training and technical assistance (TTA) to rural law enforcement agencies along or near the southwest border of the United States, to support their efforts to reduce violent crime, including drug-related crime and human trafficking.

The purpose of this solicitation is to support law enforcement entities in building capacity and operational effectiveness as a core member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary human trafficking task force. Eligible applicants must operate as part of a multidisciplinary human trafficking task force and identify and partner with victim service providers to offer comprehensive services to all victims of human trafficking.

The purpose of the Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking Program is to support the development and enhancement of multidisciplinary human trafficking task forces that implement collaborative approaches to combating all forms of human trafficking within the United States' sex trafficking and labor trafficking of foreign nationals and U.S. citizens (of all sexes and ages).
