The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is submitting data for the FY2023 SCAAP Funds for OJP reviewto determine if the Adult Detention Center is eligible for and what amount of SCAAP funding.
The OJP State Criminal Alien Assistance Program makes payments to "states" and "units of local government" that incur certain types of costs due to "incarceration" of undocumented criminal aliens".
The Rutherford County FY23 SCAAP project used for costs associated with the incarceration of undocumented criminal aliens during 12 month reporting period. The reporting period is 7/1/21-6/30/22.
The SCAAP grant will help offset overtime costs incurred in the processing and housing of undocumented criminal aliens in the Arapahoe County Detention Facility.
THE STATE CRIMINAL ALIEN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
This is a reimbursement request application submitted by Orange County in order to receive funding for housing illegal immigrants in the County jail in accordance with SCAAP.
To pay for ongoing maintenance of the Sheriff's Inmate Electronic Data (SHIELD) application, which is MCSO's tracking and reporting application for all inmates house in our jail facilities.
To receive federal payment for all incurred correctional officer salary costs for incarcerating undocumented criminal aliens.
