BJA has partnered with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) to launch the National Consortium on Preventing Law Enforcement Suicide, a groundbreaking new initiative to raise awareness of the systemic barriers to mental health and prevent deaths by suicide among law enforcement officers. Developed with support from BJA, the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Toolkit is now available in an online interactive format to promote learning about officer safety and encourage the leveraging of resources to augment state, local, and tribal efforts to promote officer safety.
