This program provides funding to create a regional drug data research center that promotes the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information critical in response to the overdose crisis and impacts of opioids, stimulants, and other substances.

This program will fund a training and technical assistance provider for the Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.

This program will provide funding to prevent and reduce crime and enhance the criminal justice system through innovative approaches that accelerate justice by identifying, defining, and responding to emerging or chronic crime problems and systemic issues using innovative approaches.

Through this opportunity, BJA invests in future and current leaders in the field to advance priority national policy issues and offer cross-developmental opportunities for Department of Justice staff and criminal justice practitioners and researchers.

This program assists state, local, and tribal efforts to break the cycle of substance abuse and misuse by reducing the demand for, use, and illegal trafficking of controlled substances.

This program assists states with developing and implementing residential substance use disorder treatment programs within state correctional facilities, as well as within local correctional and detention facilities, in which persons are incarcerated for a period of time sufficient to permit substance use disorder treatment.

This program will provide funding under five separate training and technical assistance (TTA) categories for multiple justice and mental health programs to deliver site-based, program-specific TTA and broader TTA for the field.

This program provides resources to state, local, and federally recognized tribal governments to support drug court programs and systems for eligible veterans in the criminal justice system who have substance use disorders.

This program provides resources to support state, local, tribal, and territorial efforts to respond to illicit substance use and misuse; reduce overdose deaths; promote public safety; and support access to prevention, harm-reduction, treatment, and recovery services in the community and justice system.

Funding through this opportunity will be used to provide training and technical assistance to grantees and practitioners to improve correctional substance use disorder treatment programming and post-release outcomes for individuals who are incarcerated.
